Essen, April 2025. Ramada by Wyndham Düsseldorf Ratingen welcomes Daniel Blodau, a seasoned gastronomy expert, as the new Restaurant Manager at the Krummenweg restaurant. The 43-year-old has a sound education as a chef and can look back on a multifaceted career in the kitchen and service as well as in management positions. Blodau began his professional career as a chef in renowned Düsseldorf establishments such as Stockhein Restaurantbetriebe (Rheinterrasse, WZ-Center auf der KÖ), “Im Goldenen Ring” and “Benders Marie”. Later, he shifted his focus to the service area, where he gained valuable experience as a service employee and (independent) food stylist. His activities as restaurant manager at “Gasthof Gut Porz” and at “Bürgerhaus Ratingen” were particularly formative, where he not only managed teams but also optimized operational processes. Daniel Blodau impresses with his extensive expertise, his practical way of working and his ability to reconcile economic efficiency with the expectations of the guests. With his many years of experience, his pronounced quality awareness and his passion for excellent cuisine, he will further develop the gastronomic offer of the Restaurant Krummenweg in the Ramada by Wyndham Düsseldorf Ratingen.
