Hampton by Hilton Opens in UNESCO World Heritage City Potsdam-Babelsberg

Essen, April 2025. In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Potsdam-Babelsberg, the Hampton by Hilton has opened its doors. With its attractive location directly opposite Filmpark Babelsberg and the Metropolis Halle at Ahornplatz, the hotel of the globally renowned brand is a point of attraction and departure for leisure and business travelers. Across a total area of 7,000 square meters, guests can expect 168 modernly designed rooms, a 24/7 bar along with a spacious and light-filled lounge, a meeting room, an energetic fitness area, and comfortable, on-site parking. “With the Hampton by Hilton in Potsdam-Babelsberg, we are bringing cosmopolitan class with affordable comfort to the film city”, says Sascha Konter, Managing Director of the operating company Signo Hospitality GmbH, enthusiastically at the opening. “I am delighted that, together with the owner, Ahornplatz Babelsberg GmbH, and the international brand Hampton by Hilton, we can present this impressive project to the public today.”

Modern Ambiance, Regional Snacks, and Steakhouse

At Hampton by Hilton Potsdam-Babelsberg, guests experience thoughtfully designed and spacious rooms with a modern, upscale ambiance. International travelers can enjoy regional drinks, snacks, and delicious in-between meals, such as Brandenburg potato soup. For a larger appetite, a visit to the “Mirabell” steakhouse is worthwhile. The restaurant of Babelsberg restaurateur Ali Chour was positioned directly within the hotel property.
