Four Essen City Centre: New Name, New Era, New Operator

Essen, May 2025. A new chapter begins in the heart of the Ruhr metropolis: the hotel formerly known as Holiday Inn Essen is now operating under the new name Four Essen City Centre (167 rooms). With the change to the operating company Signo Hospitality and the joining of Marriott Hotels’ global brand portfolio, the hotel combines many years of experience with international standards and the amenities of the Marriott Bonvoy customer program. The central location, the spacious rooms, the personal, family atmosphere and the well-coordinated team will of course be retained. Under the leadership of Director Isabelle Reichardt, who will continue to successfully manage the hotel during the upcoming renovation phase, guests can rely on continuity and the highest quality.

In the middle of Essen – and in the middle of change

The rebranding of the hotel is part of Signo Hospitality’s consistent expansion strategy.
