Christoph Seitz is the Director of the New Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Lenggries

Essen, May 2025. Christoph Seitz (45) is taking over as Director of the new Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott in Lenggries. Before closing at the end of 2022, the hotel had operated for fifty years as the Arabella Brauneck Hotel and is now undergoing extensive renovation, functional and visual upgrades, and will reopen with a new name under the management company Signo Hospitality. The opening is scheduled for August 2025. Christoph Seitz brings more than 20 years of experience in the upscale hotel industry and is known in the industry for his excellent leadership skills and his ability to combine international standards with local needs. Seitz’s career has taken him through numerous renowned national and international locations, including London, Milan, Frankfurt, and Munich. Prior to his last position as Director of the Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee, he was also Director of the Arabella Brauneck Hotel in Lenggries for over seven years, where he played a key role in the further development of the hotel “with the special soul.”

From Nigeria to Lenggries: international expertise meets tradition

Seitz’s international career led him as Director of Food & Beverage to the Le Méridien Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort in Nigeria, one of the largest 5-star resorts in the country. Other formative positions included The Berkeley in London and the Principe di Savoia in Milan, where he was able to deepen his expertise in managing high-class hotels. “Returning to Lenggries is very special for me and feels like a project close to my heart. I look forward to working with my team to continue the history of the hotel while setting new accents to offer guests a modern and unforgettable experience,” says the Augsburg native with a smile.
